Parents and Players,
I apologize for the late weekly email. We had a very busy day yesterday with District 15 meetings and the tournament draw, then practice. Thank you to everyone who came to the banquet and showed support for the boys' accomplishments. Also congratulations to all of the players for the success and awards they received!
This week we will continue to practice in preparation for the tournament. Please take note, our practice on Sunday will be at Kettering Middle School!
AWARDS
This past Saturday we had our annual GWOC awards meeting. I would like to congratulate three of our players who received these honors!
Kameron Thornton
Kameron received Special Mention All GWOC this year. As I mentioned at the banquet, Kam has been our energy guy this year. He has fueled us on the defensive end and gets us to play harder as a team with the intensity he plays with. Kam finished in the top 5 in assists in GWOC and 9th in steals. Congratulations to Kam!
Kaden Ralston
Kaden also received Special Mention All GWOC! Kaden led our team in assist to turnover ratio and finished 10th in assists for GWOC! Kaden has been solid for us all year on the floor, as well as being a great leader on and off the court. Congratulations to Kaden!
Jayden McGraw
Jayden received 1st All GWOC this year as well as GWOC Player Of The Year! Jayden had a huge year for us and dominated the GWOC in a lot of categories. He led the GWOC in points and rebounds, as well as finished in the top five in GWOC in blocks, fg pct and steals!Yesterday, during the District 15 meeting, Jayden also earned 1st Team All District 15 Underclassman! Congratulations to Jayden!
I am extremely proud of these three for their accomplishments and being recognized for them! All three have done an incredible job for our team and our program. Congratulations to Kameron, Kaden and Jayden!
Tournament Draw
We had our tournament draw yesterday as well. We will play Springfield at Butler High School on March 5th at 7:30PM. I will send more information soon as far as ticketing, bus times, etc. I will attach the tournament bracket to this email.
