The Fairmont Wrestling Firebirds split a pair of duals while honoring their distinguished Alumni on Thursday 1/29/26.

The Firebirds defeated Trotwood 59-21 and lost a nailbiter, 40-35, to Vandalia-Butler.

Winning 2 matches were Kellen Metcalf, Dawson France, Esteban Martinez, Ja'Siah Jamison, and Noah Olligschlager, who avenged an early season loss in dominant fashion.

Winning 1 match were Jamin Livingston, Dalton Smith, Crue Nadzam, Carter Robinson, Micah Buskard, Kolby Wallace, and Gordon Gates.

The Firebirds are now 6-2 in duals on the year. They close out the regular season next Thursday 2/5/26 in the friendly confines of Trent Arena when they take on Little Miami and Kings.
