After the holiday break, Fairmont Track & Field is officially back in action, and the early returns are strong. Our athletes wasted no time getting back into race shape, stacking personal records, top-eight finishes, and all-time marks as the indoor season gets rolling.
New Personal Records
Xavier Miller opened the year with a big performance in the 60m, running an indoor PR of 7.28, which now ranks 3rd All-Time Indoor at Fairmont.
Isaac Congo posted two strong marks with an indoor PR of 24.79 in the 200m and a 7.37 in the 60m dash at Tiffin, placing him 4th All-Time Indoor in the 60m dash .
Niles Choice III ran an indoor PR of 24.81 in the 200m, while Dillon Combs clocked a 57.86 indoor PR in the 400m.
Mortaza Hussainzada recorded an indoor PR of 2:27.10 in the 800m.
On the girls side, Taylor Reese ran an indoor PR of 29.77 in the 200m. Isabella Lebrun followed with a 31.99 indoor PR, and Abigail Freels added a new PR of 32.97 in the same event. Alyssa Culbreath posted an indoor PR of 1:11.92 in the 400m.
Top 8 Finishes
The boys 4x400m relay of Keeden Stoner, Ethan Nartowicz, Diego Linarez, and Tavion Powell earned a 3rd place finish with a time of 3:51.
Taylor Reese finished 6th in the high jump, while Ronald Johnson placed 6th in the long jump with a new PR of 19-7.5.
Chris Schutt ran 55.42 in the 400m for an 8th place finish, ranking him 4th All-Time Indoor and 18th All-Time Outdoor.
Ethan Nartowicz added another PR in the 800m, running 2:11.71 for 8th place, now 13th All-Time Indoor.
OATCCC Indoor State Qualifiers (Top 16 as of 1/18/26)
Kaylianna Frazee placed 4th in the long jump with a new PR of 15-10.75, ranking 4th All-Time Indoor and T-9th All-Time Outdoor (unconfirmed).
Violet Wright finished 11th in the high jump at 4-10, placing T-4th All-Time Indoor and T-8th All-Time Outdoor.
The boys 4x400m relay currently sits 13th on the OATCCC list with a time of 3:46.40.
The season is just getting started, and Fairmont is already setting the tone. More work ahead, more opportunities coming, and plenty of room left to climb.
