Hello Swim and Dive Families!

I hope everyone is surviving the cold and snow today. We had another great meet this past Friday. We had several swimmers swim events for the first time. We also had several swimmers swim events that they had not done in a while.
We had several personal bests on both girls' and boys' teams. Because the meet was scored only out to 8th place and we had 9 teams, we did not place as high as we did last week, but I was happy with our performance.

This week is our travel meet! I will send the trip itinerary details once I receive the warm-up schedule (hopefully Monday). For parents who want to attend, the meet will start at 10AM at Centre College in Danville, KY, about a 3-hour drive. I will share all the specific addresses and ticket info with the itinerary. If you let me know you are making the trip, perhaps we can coordinate a Fairmont cheering section in the stands. I also would love to have a parent pick up our lunch from Chick-fil-A as the meet is finishing up (rather than a coach leaving the meet). Let me know if you can do that.

For practice this week, we will end at 5:15 every day M-TH this week. This wll give everyone a little extra time to study for exams. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS! For Monday's practice, swimmers who are participating in the holiday concert can get out at 5.
