“The cross country team raced last Saturday at the Buckeye Running Sunrise Invitational with 8 tough Cincinnati-area teams.
Lucy Schafer led the girls with her 7th place finish, and Ethan Nartowicz led the boys with his 14th place finish.
Also scoring for the Firebirds in the Championship races were Evelyn Wesig, Peyton Taylor, Paige Murray, Charlotte Hardenbrook, Aidan Quadros, Alec Hor, Chris Schutt, and Connor Layman.
Running in their first or second high school cross country race were Emma Finch, Gracie Blumenstock, Ramona Cosmato, Amelia Yount, Aeyla Lamb, Jett Beck, Brandon Amaguay, Kaito Okamoto, Mason Jordan, Aiden Cepeda-Young, Evan Lairmore, Cole Otten, Samuel Bost, Elijah Dahlin and Ben Smearcheck.
The team is racing this Saturday at the Lebanon Invitational! "
